The Developmental Sessions are conducted by No Limit Performance certified trainers at Harriet Tubman School in St. Catharines. These sessions are ran in partnership with the City of St. Catharines Department of Recreation in an effort to build a physically literate community. The City of St. Catharines is recognized by Canadian Sport 4 Life as one of the top 10 municipalities in Canada for the advocacy of children’s physical literacy. When we decided to partner with the City we were happy to hear that we share their philosophy that the core of every young successful recreational athlete is both self-confidence and physical competence.
This program will allow those that are new to the game of basketball as well as those that are interested in developing their basketball fundamentals further to get better under our guidance. Once a player demonstrates that they have built the necessary foundation to attend No Limit Performance sessions at our facility or Sunday Sessions at Ridley College they will be progressed into our programming.
We have designed sessions to fit three different age demographics:
- Ages 6 to 8 years old
- Ages 9 to 10 years old
- Ages 11 to 13 years old
The programs run for a period of 12 weeks starting in September and another period of 10 weeks starting in January. The sessions will cover basketball skill development, athletic development and team concepts.
